Introduction to the Newsletters schedule

The newsletter schedule allows you to plan one-shot campaigns (campaigns sent once, at a specific time, to a group of recipients, such as newsletters) across all communication channels available in your project. It also enables you to view scheduled sends by month, week, and day, as well as monitor the status of your sends.

This article will explain how the schedule is organized, what information is visible, and what actions are available.

1. Monthly Schedule

The monthly schedule shows the number of ad hoc campaigns scheduled for each day of the month, represented by colored dots that indicate their status.

  • Green-bordered labels indicate the number of sent campaigns.
  • Solid green labels indicate the number of scheduled and active campaigns (ready to be sent).
  • Red-bordered labels indicate the number of past campaigns that were not sent.
  • Solid red labels indicate the number of scheduled but inactive campaigns.

The current month is displayed by default. You can navigate between months using the arrows in the header or by selecting a specific month and year from the dropdown list.

The Volume column indicates the number of recipients per week.

2. Weekly Schedule

The weekly schedule shows the details of campaigns sent or scheduled for each day of the selected week in the monthly schedule. To view the weekly schedule for a specific week, simply click on it in the monthly schedule.

This section can be displayed in Card View or Table View. It provides the following details for each newsletter:

  • Its name.
  • Its send time.
  • Its status.
  • The recipient volume.

The volume corresponds to the number of members contacted if the newsletter has already been sent, or the number of targeted members if the send is yet to come.

Possible statuses:

  • Sent: the newsletter has been successfully sent to recipients.
  • In progress: the newsletter is currently being sent. It cannot be deactivated or modified.
  • Not sent: the send date has passed, and the newsletter was not sent. This newsletter cannot be edited but can be rescheduled.
  • Active: the newsletter is ready to be sent and has been activated by a user. It will be sent at the specified date and time but can still be modified.
  • Inactive: the newsletter is not ready to be sent.
