Add a contact to the blacklist

Adding a contact to the blacklist makes them immediately non-contactable: they will be excluded from all campaign targeting across all P-ONE channels and will no longer receive newsletters or automated campaigns from you. Blacklisting is especially useful in cases where contacts directly request to be unsubscribed or to exclude suspicious addresses from your mailings.

This tutorial will explain how to add or remove a contact from the blacklist, and where to view the blacklist.

1. Blacklisting a contact

  1. In the menu My Contacts > My Contacts, open the Search tab.
  2. Search for your contact using their email address, phone number, or customer ID.
  1. Select the contact from the list of results to open their customer profile.
  1. Click on the Not blacklisted chip to switch it to Blacklisted.
  1. Click OK in the pop-up to confirm.

The contact will be immediately excluded from all campaign targeting.

2. Viewing the blacklist

You can view the blacklist via the My Contacts > My Contacts menu, in the Manage tab.

In the Blacklisted members section, click the View icon to display the list.

Select a member from the list to view their profile.

You can also export the list of blacklisted members by clicking the Download icon.

3. Removing a contact from the blacklist

A contact can be removed from the blacklist at any time from their profile by clicking on the Blacklisted chip to switch it back to Not blacklisted.

They will then immediately become contactable again.
