Introduction
When you modify the appearance of a block, you can choose to extend your settings to all blocks of the same type in your template—whether they are already present at the time of modification or added later—or limit them to the selected block only.
The icon 
indicates that your changes will be applied to all blocks of the same type.
The icon 
indicates that your changes will only be applied to the selected block.
