Subdomain configuration : prerequisites<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some elements must be considered before proceeding:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The subdomain name cannot exceed 28 characters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The parent domain must host a website or redirect to a website.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The parent domain must have been created a few weeks ago.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>HSTS must not be enabled for the parent domain.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It recommended not to hide the whois of the parent domain.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Choose a short and clear name for your subdomain. It should reflect the nature of the communications it will be used for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For example:&nbsp;<strong>news.domain.com<\/strong>&nbsp;for sending newsletters,<strong>&nbsp;order.domain.com<\/strong>&nbsp;for sending transactional messages related to purchases, or&nbsp;<strong>notify.domain.com<\/strong>&nbsp;for sending transactional messages related to account management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-info is-style-note is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PMAIL operates based on DNS entries deemed correct. You must ensure that no changes will be made to the approved DNS without prior validation and agreement from the technical teams. Additionally, the expiration of the domain name is the client\u2019s responsibility.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To ensure optimal reputation, this or these domains must also be able to receive emails. You will need to configure valid MX records on this or these domains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"ancre2\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Elements Provided by Your Probance Consultant<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You must first communicate the name of the subdomain to be configured to your Probance consultant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A dedicated PMAIL platform will be set up, and your consultant will provide you with the following elements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2 CNAME Records<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 DKIM subdomains and values<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Google key<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Yahoo key<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These details must be kept for the creation of the DNS records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"ancre3\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">3.
